  • October: Safe Place for Youth

Safe Place for Youth’s mission is to inspire, nurture, and empower the resilient human spirit of homeless youth by providing immediate and lasting solutions, one young person at a time. S.P.Y. is located in Venice, California, and provides outreach to homeless youth throughout the Westside neighborhoods of Los Angeles, including Culver City.

We will have the opportunity to learn from board members and from the diverse and experienced staff about how we can support their efforts with homeless youth in Los Angeles. These efforts will include:

    • Drives for specific items needed by their clients
    • Lunch packing events for their meal needs onsite in Venice

To begin our partnership, we will be participating in a voluntary Adopt-a-Family project during the holiday season. Details for participation with be provided in late November and early December.
