Yvette joins the Echo Horizon community all the way from Beijing, China where she lived for the better part of a decade! A Southern California native, she studied journalism with an emphasis in media relations at San Diego State University and minored in political science. In Beijing, she held roles ranging from communications and marketing positions at K-12 international schools, writer and school editor for lifestyle magazines, and pre-school ESL teacher. Yvette has also lived in Manila, Philippines. In her free time, she enjoys hunting for second-hand fashion treasures, coffee, books, yoga classes, surfing with her husband, petting all the animals, and making up for lost time with family and friends. Yvette is excited to be part of the Echo community and looks forward to reacquainting herself with her Los Angeles roots!
