Elizabeth Cohn is honored to be the Choir Director and Music Teacher at Echo Horizon School. Elizabeth founded and conducts the Echo Singers, a nationally recognized gold award winning choir consisting of 4th-6th grade students who are hearing as well as d/Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Earning her B.A. from UCLA in Music and Italian Studies as well as her B.A. in Music Therapy from CSUN, she is a well-regarded music educator, singer, conductor, voice coach and music therapist. She serves the adult special needs community as a music therapist at Yachad. Elizabeth is a published composer, bi-lingual in Spanish and has appeared on JLTV singing in Ladino. She has presented music therapy seminars at UCLA and has appeared as a guest speaker for Women In Music Los Angeles. Elizabeth previously served as the President of the Women’s Chorale at CSUN receiving the award for outstanding achievement.
