• Bill Engle joined the Echo Horizon community in the fall of 2020. Originally from Massachusetts, Mr. Engle graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. He went on to coach youth soccer throughout Boston, propelling him on his path in education. Mr. Engle moved to Los Angeles and taught physical education at Roosevelt Elementary School for five years. He then returned to school for his master's degree in teaching and multiple-subject credential from the USC Rossier School of Education, graduating in the spring of 2020.

     

    During his time at Roosevelt Elementary, Mr. Engle was was a key member of the school’s anti-bullying committee, leading lessons on bullying prevention for the entire school. Knowing about Echo Horizon’s emphasis on diversity, inclusion, and its whole-child approach, he was ecstatic to join the team. Outside of Echo Horizon, Mr. Engle still finds time for his passion for coaching youth club soccer. Other interests include music, running, and heading back to the Northeast for the winter weather.
