• Liza DeWitt is excited to start her 4th year at Echo Horizon in her new role as Upper Elementary Learning Specialist and JEDI Co-Chair. She earned her BA in Ethnomusicology at Bates College in Maine and a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Antioch University. She has been in the classroom for 9 years in a variety of roles - special education instructional aide, long-term substitute, and third-grade teacher. In 2020 she completed her master’s degree in Learning and Teaching at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. This year she will be going back to school yet again to earn a certificate in educational therapy.

     

    Ms. DeWitt is energized by her Echo Horizon colleagues’ passion, fun energy, knowledge, and investment in elementary education. She enjoys supporting students’ growth and development. Outside of teaching, Ms. DeWitt loves to dance, do yoga, hike, sing, and listen to music.
