• Claudette Brown began working at Echo Horizon in 1997 as the school Librarian. Mrs. Brown has a Degree in Nursing from Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing at the University of Rhode Island, and a BA in Art History from California State University, Northridge. She is a member of the American Library Association, the American Association of School Libraries, the California Association of School Libraries, the Southern California Library Network, and the Children’s Literature Council of Southern California. Prior to working at Echo Horizon, Mrs. Brown was part of the library staff at Village School. She believes that Echo Horizon School is a microcosm of our greater Los Angeles Community. Our students, parents, faculty and staff all know one another more intimately than in many other academic environments. We are a true community. As the Librarian Mrs. Brown has the unique opportunity to work with all students for the entirety of their time at our school, and as a result, she has known them for most of their lives!
