• Megan Berta began working at Echo Horizon School in 2015, as the fifth-grade Echo Center teacher. Ms. Berta has a B.A. in Liberal Studies, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a General Science Credential from California State University, Fullerton. She also has an MS in Education/Special Education with an emphasis in Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and a D/HH Teaching Credential from Mount St. Mary’s University/John Tracy Clinic. She was born and raised in Laguna Hills, and has never lived anywhere but Southern California. She lives in the South Bay with her husband and two young children. They enjoy going to the pool and the beach as a family. Ms. Berta loves working at Echo Horizon School because every day she gets to see students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing flourishing in a kind, inclusive environment with their typically hearing peers.
