Is it a school or is it a camp?
Actually, it's somewhere in between. During our six-week summer program, the atmosphere is relaxed and everything is fun. We've run the program every summer since our school's founding in 1983, with EHS as well as non-EHS families returning year after year. Our summer program instructors create engaging new classes each year that sustain the ongoing adventure.
EHS Does Summer
For EHS students only, we offer Here Comes Kindergarten, a great way for entering children to become familiar with their new school, in two three-week sessions.
EHSDS (1st to 4th grade) is comprised of six one-week thematic sessions during which children will participate in sports, arts, sciences, games and much more. The one-week model provides flexibility for summer planning. Sign up for one to six sessions or anything inbetween.
Tween Adventures (5th to 8th grade) provides a range of activities of interest to this age group and is also offered in six one-week sessions.
All classes are taught by experienced teachers in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
