

In April 2009, the Parent Association will host the Spring Auction, the school's annual fundraising dinner. We’d like to celebrate the school’s extraordinary success with you and we hope that you will help us to create a spectacular event. Here are some ways in which you can get involved:
AUCTION
To help get you started, here are some categories of items that are very successful:
If you prefer, we are happy to solicit these businesses for you. Simply return the names, phone numbers
and addresses of the businesses you wish solicited and we’ll contact them. Please start early. Many schools will be “out there” soliciting donations and the sooner we get our message out, the greater success we will have. The deadline for inclusion in the auction catalog is February 13, 2009.
I hope you will also consider (either alone or with several of your friends) donating a party for other EHS parents or families to bid on. Possibilities include a wine tasting party, a movie screening, a girls and/or guys night out, a cooking class, a bingo night, etc. The more interesting your event, the more successful the auction! The bidding on these family-sponsored events has been incredible in the past and we hope to build a strong offering again this year.

PROGRAM & DEDICATION BOOK
Over the years, this has become a memorable and personal EHS keepsake. We hope EVERYONE will dedicate and create messages and put pictures into this year’s book, filling it with special tributes, greetings, appreciation, acknowledgments, and well-wishes!
Your advertisement, photo or greeting is tax-deductible and every dollar contributed goes toward providing services for our children. EHS offers a unique, innovative and successful program for the mainstream education of hearing, deaf and hard of hearing children, thanks to the support and commitment of parents like you.
We’re happy to help you with creative ideas for an ad. For your convenience, our own “in-house” parent photographer will take your child’s photo during school recess, to be included in your ad and we can do the text and graphic layout for you.

The deadline to reserve in the Program & Dedication Book is February 20, 2009.
