When making admissions decisions, our primary consideration is the creation of classes that are balanced and heterogeneous. We welcome diversity in its many forms. We accord siblings a preference in admissions decisions, and we try to keep a gender balance.

We do not expect our entering Kindergarteners to be beginning readers and writers, nor do they need to be able to cut on a line, draw a person, or climb the monkey bars. Many admitted children have several of these skills; some may have just one or two. The students we admit are those who will thrive in our program, those whose parents understand the school’s philosophy and find it compatible with their own.
