The faculty and staff of Echo Horizon School are well trained and uniquely qualified to work with a diverse student body. Our Head of School, Mrs. Paula R. Dashiell, has been actively involved in education for over 30 years, several of which were spent at UCLA's renowned Seeds University Elementary School. While there she taught children, supervised student teachers and worked closely with Dr. Madeline Hunter to develop and implement the teaching and learning techniques that most effectively help every child learn and achieve.
At Echo Horizon School these proven techniques are easily visible. The strength and needs of each child are continually assessed by a staff of teachers particularly adept at creating learning opportunities that meet students' individual needs. Expectations are always clearly stated; encouragement and support are prevalent. The development and expansion of individual strengths and the remediation of problem areas are an integral part of the Echo Horizon School program.
